We have two open days this year
- Saturday 25th of May 2024 for a Special One Day open day.
- An Open Weekend coinciding with the Heritage Open Weekends around Coventry. This Year we will be open Saturday/Sunday 7th/8th of September 2024.
There is no admission fee for either event, but donations are always welcome!
Entry from 10am. Come up and see our layouts and talk to club members. Four large and several small layouts in a variety of scales covering the 30s to the present day. Special exhibits for the children to see and interact with.
There are homemade cakes, tea and coffee available at very reasonable prices. Please note access to the club room is up three flights of narrow stairs and will be impossible for wheelchair users.
Come and watch trains running on our three large layouts and several smaller ones. Children are welcome and have their own layouts to play with. Members will be on hand to demonstrate and explain the layouts.
Other layouts can be seen being built, illustrating everything from modelling skills to computer control.
We welcome questions about railway modelling and railways in general. If you have a problem with your trains we might be able to help.
We usually have a second hand stall running where people can buy track, old rolling stock and such for pocket money prices.
All monies raised are used to help fund the club in terms of buying equipment and materials as well as buy rolling stock for the layouts.
